Three core services, and what happens after your first message

Each has its own page.

There is no result figure from a past project here: no percentage, no week saved, no project count. We have none we could substantiate for you, and we do not publish a number we cannot substantiate. Below instead: the six questions you probably will not ask us in a first call, answered before you have to.

Custom Software Development

Internal tools, customer portals, integrations and the reporting that hangs off them. We read the process the software is meant to carry and write it down first. Building comes after that, on technologies you can hire for.

  • •Business applications and internal platforms
  • •Integrations and API design
  • •Reporting as part of the system
  • •Handover to your team

Camunda 7 Migration

Nine platforms will take your Camunda 7 processes. We read your setup, name the one that fits in writing, and prove nothing broke.

Which dates apply to which Camunda 7 version is set out in Camunda 7 end of maintenance per version.

  • •Process Inventory
  • •BPMN/DMN compatibility
  • •Dependency migration
  • •Regression test strategy

BPMN Process Automation

Approvals, task flows and document processes that live in email and spreadsheets today run on an engine afterwards, with owners, deadlines and a history somebody can read back.

A drawn model and a running one are not the same thing. We build the second kind.

  • •Approval and task workflows
  • •Java and Spring Boot integration
  • •Retry and error handling
  • •Operated by your team

The experience behind the work

Charis Moutafidis is the owner of Peak Code Consulting and the person who performs the migration.

He has worked as a software engineer for more than ten years. Those years are his own. They do not belong to the GmbH.

Across those years he has delivered in five sectors:

  • Banking
  • Travel
  • Telecommunications
  • Health
  • Online education

Some of that work went through Peak Code Consulting GmbH, some through his Greek company, and some in earlier employment as a developer.

You will find no result figure, no client name and no project duration attached to any of them here. The same rule applies as further up this page: what we cannot substantiate, we do not publish.

Six questions you will not ask us

Every one of them is fair, and some of our answers cost us work.

What does it cost?
The 7-Day Sheet-to-App Prototype has its prices on its own page. Every other engagement is scoped per client.
For every other engagement, your estate sets the effort: how many processes run, how much business code hangs off the interface, how much of it is automatically tested today, how many business units are affected.
For those engagements, anyone who names a number without having seen that is guessing. We lose work over this to suppliers who quote on the phone. Everything up to the quote is free: the answer within 48 hours, thirty minutes on the phone, and by the end of those thirty minutes a statement of which path is yours.
Why not our existing supplier?
Often that is exactly what you should do. They know your systems, your approval routes and the people who call when something stops. We cannot buy that head start, and we will not pretend it does not exist.
The question is a different one: have they moved a Camunda 7 estate onto another platform before? Have they lifted a process out of email onto an engine before?
Put one question to them, and ask for it in writing: which target platform, and why the others are out. If a substantiated answer comes back, stay with them. If none does, you know why you are reading this.
What happens if you become unavailable?
A fair question, and it applies to a supplier of any size. It is answered on the merits or not at all.
What we produce sits in your repositories and belongs to you. The roadmap is dated and written so that it can go to your risk function unchanged. The test suite is yours and runs on demand. On a migration the way back is documented before the first process moves.
None of it exists only as experience in someone’s head. If a supplier drops out, the next one reads the same files. You want your system in that state regardless of who built it.
Does this tie me to you?
No, and you can check all three levels.
The documents: the destination verdict and the roadmap are yours as soon as they are written, even if you carry on with somebody else afterwards, or with nobody.
The technology: we ship no framework of our own, no runtime with our name on it and no licence that hangs on us. Every entry in the stack below is something you can put in a job advert.
Operations: the system is handed over so that your team can run it itself after launch.
Do you understand our industry?
Probably not as well as you do. This page names five sectors Charis Moutafidis has worked in. That is a statement about his career. It says nothing about your business.
What carries across industries is the shape: an approval with four parties, a case that sits for six weeks and then comes back to life, a rule implemented differently in four systems. Those shapes repeat. The domain knowledge inside them does not.
We get yours by handing it back to you. Before anything is built, you get your own process written down as we understood it. You correct it, we rewrite.
If it is still wrong after that, the industry is rarely the reason. It means the process is not decided, and an undecided process cannot be programmed.
How many projects do you run at once?
For migrations the number is fixed: two at a time. The limit is deliberate. We do not manufacture scarcity for marketing.
If both slots are taken your start date moves, and it can move by months. We tell you that in the first call. If your schedule cannot absorb it, place the work elsewhere. We mean that. A promised slot nobody is holding open is worse than a no.

What we work with

This list is not a service catalogue and it proves nothing. It answers two questions: whether we can read your estate, and whether you will find somebody to carry it on after handover. What is for sale is the three services above. Nothing else.
