1. What we collect, and why
Newsletter and handbook. When you request the Camunda PATH handbook we collect your email address. We also store the time, IP address and user-agent of your signup together with the exact consent wording shown to you. That record is our evidence that consent was lawfully given.
Legal basis: consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a).
The “Your PATH” enquiry form. If you complete the form we collect your first and last name, work email address, phone number, your role, company name, company website, whether you decide on the migration, your Camunda 7 edition and your timeframe.
Legal basis: steps prior to entering a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
Analytics. Only after you agree — see section 4.
2. Who receives the data
| Recipient | For | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH / Brevo SA) | Sending the handbook and follow-up emails | EU hosting |
| Amazon Web Services | Processing form submissions | USA |
| Google Analytics 4 | Analytics, only with consent | USA |
| Vercel | Hosting this website | USA/EU |
We do not sell, rent or trade your data.
3. How long we keep it
Email address: until you unsubscribe. We keep the consent record for three years after that, so we can demonstrate the signup was lawful.
Form data: ten years, as business correspondence, under the Swiss statutory retention period for business records (Art. 958f CO).
A deletion request under section 5 applies regardless, except where a statutory retention duty prevents it.
4. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only if you agree in the cookie notice. Without consent no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
How to withdraw your consent. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. We do not currently offer a control to change it. You withdraw by clearing site data for this domain:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data → find
peakcodeconsulting.ch→ delete - Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data →
peakcodeconsulting.ch→ remove - Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data →
peakcodeconsulting.ch→ remove
The notice appears again on your next visit and you can choose afresh.
5. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability, and to object. Consent once given can be withdrawn at any time with future effect — every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately and needs no reason.
If unsubscribing is not enough and you want to be erased, email info@peakcodeconsulting.ch and we will delete the record.
You may also complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or in the EEA your local data protection authority.
